The closing ceremony was held at King Abdullah I Mosque in Amman with officials such as the Arab country's Minister of Awqaf Islamic Affairs and Holy Places Mohammad Ahmad Muslim Al Khalayleh in attendance.
Starting on Saturday, representatives from 50 countries competed in the memorization of the entire Holy Quran.
Manar Sultan Abdullah Saif from Yemen was named the top winner of the event.
Dania Muhammad Nasser Amin Al-Sadiq from the host nation, Zainab Mahmoud Rifai Shamseddine from Egypt, Fatima Muhammed Jabreen from Chad, and Sarah Mosbah Al-Hadi Khalafallah from Libya gained next ranks respectively.
Roya Fazaeli from Iran also participated in the competition and achieved no rank despite her high readiness.
On the sidelines of the competition, the contenders have taken part in different programs such as visits to Jordan’s historical sites and saying prayers at the Grand Mosque in Amman.
The men’s competitions in Jordan will be held on April 11-17. Ali Reza Sameri will represent Iran in the category of memorization of the entire Holy Quran.
